Here C is recorded as the consumption, H as the rated calories of the boiler, V as the burning value of coal, E as the thermal efficiency of coal steam boiler.

C=H/V/E

For example:

1T coal steam boiler needs 600,000Kcal/h, let us suppose the lowest burning value of coal is 5,500Kcal/kg, the thermal efficiency of a 1 ton boiler fuel consumption is about 80%(the highest efficiency of boiler from Yongxing is about 90%), then according to the boiler efficiency formula:

C=H/V/E

=60000/5500/80%

=136kg/h
