I. Adjustable tensioning device for chain grate stoker
The adjustable tensioning device of the chain grate stoker boiler is generally made of the bearing of the front shaft of the grate. Adjust the structure of the screw.
Its main function is to adjust the tightness of the grate and the parallelism of the front and rear axles of the chain grate stoker.

II. Slag retaining device
Slag retaining device has two main functions:

The second is to prevent the leakage of air in the slag well at the end of the boiler and improve the thermal efficiency of the boiler.
There are two common slag retaining devices on the chain grate stoker diagram:
1. Eagle iron.
It is located at the end of the chain grate is about to turn, shaped like an eagle beak, made of cast iron, hence the name.
It has the above first function, but can not prevent the tail air leakage, so its thermal efficiency is poor. Because of its simple structure, convenient manufacturing, and not easy to break down, it has been widely used.

The slag stop swing is installed above the end of the chain grate, and it has two functions of the above slag stop device. Therefore, boiler efficiency can be improved.

III. Side sealing device to ensure the flexible movement of the chain grate.
A certain gap must be left between the grate and the stationary frame (wallboard) on both sides, so as to avoid mutual friction and hinder the operation of the grate. But the clearance must not be too big, as far as possible to avoid air leakage into the furnace.
Worse combustion in the furnace, reduce the thermal efficiency of the boiler.
Therefore, a reliable side seal device must be used to minimize air leakage. The specific structure of the side seal device of grate may be slightly different, and its types are various, such as ash seal type side seal, labyrinth type side seal, etc.,

IV.The Anti-coke box is located on both sides of the grate and its interior is communicated with cooling water.
It is the lower header of the water wall pipe and part of the boiler circulation system.
Its anti-coke function is to protect the furnace wall from high-temperature wear and erosion.
